It is the take off point to the Myall waterways, a chain of freshwater lagoons, lakes and rainforest. Hawks Nest is bounded by ocean beach, a quiet water beach – Jimmy’s Beach - and National Park. The neighbouring town of Tea Gardens on the banks of the beautiful Myall River is a short walk over the Singing Bridge. Wanda is within walking distance of the Myall River, boat launching ramps, the main surf beach, shops, medical centre, restaurants and golf club.   Climate The climate is subtropical and temperatures range from 17°C to 34°C.     Wanda – the cottage Wanda is a well equipped comfortable holiday cottage. The kitchen has all mod cons. The living area has a comfortable two-seater lounge and two single chairs. There are overhead fans in the living area and bedrooms and timber flooring throughout the cottage. Wanda has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, side tables and reading lamps. The second bedroom has two comfortable single beds, side tales and reading lamps. Doonas, pillows and blankets are provided. There is a modern bathroom with shower, vanity and a toilet and a second toilet and outside shower. The laundry has a washing machine and dryer. A CD, DVD and video player are provided. The outside patio area flows into a large fenced child and dog proof backyard with a lovely lawn area and native garden. An outdoor setting with glass top table, six cushioned chairs, umbrella and barbeque are provided. There is a driveway either side of the cottage with a covered carport area and lockup garage.     Pet Friendly Wanda is a pet friendly property. An outdoor dog bed is provided. Should you wish to make a booking then half rental is due to be paid as a deposit, the balance payable at Tea Gardens when the keys are obtained.
